In case you don't know what a Mandalas is the word "mandala" is from the classical Indian language of Sanskrit. Loosely translated to mean "circle," a mandala is far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness, and can be seen as a model for the organizational structure of life itself--a cosmic diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, the world that extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds.

"I find when I make a Mandala at lunch my hectic stressful morning starts to melt away and my heart center opens up. I totally become more of a happy camper. This is wonderful secret I like to share with you" ~Meg

Meg Graham’s intention as an instructor is to allow a free safe to create, have fun and connect with your inner child. Making art can be healing, transformational and create positive change. Meg asks you give yourself permission to be your own Guru. This workshop is being held in Manhattan but will also be afford in Staten Island at a later date.

TRANCE STATES SERIES 2012-14

"Trance State is a series of paintings that explores states of consciousness, light, color and movement of spirit. These works are inspired by the art of the mystics, shaman and great teachers who have crossed the threshold between physical and the spiritual world. These works are portraits of portholes of energies and their vibration. The “Trance Dancers” are dizzy with excitement and represent a hypnotic trance or prayer. “Songs of the Shaman” are references to the gateway though scared plant medicines and their healing; “The  Mediators ” are a reflection of the universe inside each of us once we let go and allow our on internal cosmos to blossom.”  -Meg Graham 2014
